How are we able to sound like one? To answer the question we will use specific techniques and a very free, improvisation-based philosophy of creating music together to make all singers sound like one in songs about forest, sea, city, togetherness and caring for each other.
Soila Sariola (FI)
Soila Sariola, born 1977, is a versatile singer, a musician and a pedagogue. She is best known as an alto in the vocal en-semble Rajaton, but she can also be heard as a soloist and a member of various im-provisation groups (The Songs of the Mo-ment Nordic). She is preparing an artistic Doctoral Degree at the Sibelius Academy of Fine Arts entitled "Many Paths of Sound and Mind - How Do The Arts Combine Me”. In addition, Sariola worked as a lec-turer in Tampere University Acting School (2017-2018). She also writes music for various choirs and bands.
