Masters of mystical beauty; from Machaut to Pärt
Music and spirituality have always been indivisible; from the composer Guillaume de Machaut almost 700 years ago all the way to present day works by Arvo Pärt. Their unrivalled mystique will be complemented by works of two Slovene composers, similarly distant in the fashion of time; a 400 year-old motet by Jacobus Handl Gallus and a price-winning composition by Kristina Pustinek Rakar.
