Claude-Michel Schönberg – Les Misérables (Musical excerpts)

Do you want to feel the thrill of Broadway for a few days? We will perform excerpts from the musical Les Misérables by Claude-Michel Schönberg, accompanied by a trio (keyboard, drums and bass). You will express yourselves through singing, moving and dancing with the help of choreographer Tanja Pečenko. Join us and free your body and soul of misery!

As participants of the atelier, you will get the chance to sing and perform. Take a look at this video.

The participants will be able to attend the atelier with original scores only. The use of photocopies shall not be permitted. The participants will be able to purchase vocal score only after receiving the confirmation of participation in the chosen atelier. The link to the online store will be published here in April 2021.

Helena Fojkar Zupančič (SI)
Helena Fojkar Zupančič works as a choral director and a vocal coach at the DCG of St. Stanislav's Institution in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Focusing on adolescents and young adults, she conducts St. Stanislav Girls' Choir (WSCM, ACDA) and St. Nicolas Choir Litija, Slovenia. She also leads a 130-member (Re)Mixed Choir of the DCG, who sing (and dance to) an appealing programme of pop and musicals.
As a guest conductor she performed with the Slovenian Children’s Choir, the RTV Slovenia Chamber Choir and the Slovenian Philharmonic Choir. She is an inspiring leader who has educated numerous generations of enthusiastic singers.
